1Sign in

Everyone

Wes signs in and lands on his own pipeline.

Email and password, then straight to your own deals

  • Each producer has their own login. The owner has one that sees everything.
  • A wrong password gets a plain message, not an error code.
  • "Forgot password" sends a reset link to the producer's email.
  • You stay signed in on that device until you sign out.

2My Pipeline

Producer home screen

The five numbers, the business-type filter, a column header, a card, list view, and the closed-deals strip.

Your numbers on top, your board underneath

  1. Open pipeline: premium on every open deal, with the count and how many are in Quoted.
  2. Potential revenue: premium × commission % on every open deal, summed. What the open book is worth if it all binds.
  3. Bound YTD: commission earned this year, with premium, count and close rate.
  4. % to goal: bound commission against the annual goal. The small tick is where the year is today, so you know if you're ahead or behind.
  5. Overdue follow-ups: red when it isn't zero, with this week's count and X-dates inside 60 days.
  • The chips filter the board to Personal, Commercial or Life/Health/Benefits.
  • Each column header shows its deal count, total premium and potential revenue.
  • A card shows client, premium, line, quoted carrier, follow-up status, X-date countdown, days in stage, and the Advance button.
  • Board or List, your choice. The strip at the bottom shows what closed in the last 30 days.

3New deal

Producer

Typing a company that's already in someone's pipeline gets refused with a note naming who has it. Then the four required fields, the line picker, and "More details" opened.

Four fields to create it. Everything else is optional, now or later.

  • Required: client, producer (pre-filled), at least one line of coverage, stage.
  • No duplicates, agency-wide. As you type the company name, the form checks every producer's pipeline. If the company already has an open deal anywhere, you get a red note naming who has it, with a link to open that deal, and Create is refused. If the company was Bound or Lost before, you get a yellow heads-up and can still add it. The database enforces the same rule underneath, so it can't be slipped past.
  • Lines of coverage: tick as many as the deal needs. General Liability, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property and Workers' Comp can all sit on one Opportunity. Type in the box to filter the list.
  • Optional, under More details: contact name, phone, email, lead source, opportunity type, est. annual premium, commission %, PEPM broker fee and enrolled employees, flat annual consulting fee, current carrier, X-date, next follow-up, notes.
  • The first line you tick sets the default commission %. You can override it.
  • Press N anywhere to open this form. Enter saves it.
Every optional field here can also be filled in later from the deal panel. Nothing is ever required to move a stage.

4The deal panel

Producer

Stepper, live math, editing the premium, a follow-up button, a note, marking Lost with a reason, reopening.

Everything about one deal, editable in place

  • Stepper: the six stages across the top, Opportunity to Lost. Click any to move there. Blue is done, filled is current.
  • Quick actions: Move to next, Bound, Lost, Delete.
  • Numbers strip: premium, commission %, potential revenue. Change the premium, a fee or the employee count and it updates as you tab out.
  • Revenue, three ways: premium × commission %, plus a PEPM broker fee × enrolled employees × 12, plus a flat annual consulting fee. Fill in whichever apply; potential revenue shows the breakdown.
  • Fields: every field from the form, the line picker, quoted carrier and, once closed, the bound/lost date and lost reason. Edits save as you leave each box.
  • Follow-up buttons: Tomorrow, +3d, +1w, +2w.
  • Activity: every stage move and note with its date. Type a note, press Enter.
  • Lost: one click, then pick a reason. It's a prompt, not a wall. A lost deal can be reopened.

5Drag and drop

Producer

Dragging a card from Discovery into Blueprint, then Undo.

If you'd rather drag than click

  • Pick up any card and drop it in another column.
  • While you drag, two targets appear at the bottom: drop to mark Bound, drop to mark Lost.
  • Every move, dragged or clicked, gets an Undo in the toast.

6Search

Everyone

Press /, type part of a name, click the result.

One keystroke, any deal

  • Searches client, contact, carriers, line and deal ID across the whole agency.
  • Results show the stage, line, producer and premium. Click one to open it.

7Follow-ups and X-dates

Producer, and owner for the whole team

The four lists, then the My deals / Whole team toggle.

What needs a call today

  1. Overdue: follow-up date has passed. "Done +3d" or "Done +1w" logs the touch and reschedules in one click.
  2. Due this week: next seven days, same buttons.
  3. X-dates in the next 60 days: the renewal window. "Set follow-up" puts a reminder two weeks ahead of the X-date.
  4. Open deals with no follow-up date: the nudge list. Tomorrow, +3d, +1w.

Each row shows the stage, line, premium, contact and phone number so the call can start from here.

8All deals

Everyone

Filter to open Commercial deals, sort by premium, filter by carrier, totals at the bottom, Export CSV.

The whole book as a table

  • Filter by text, producer, stage (or just open), business type, line. A line filter finds a deal that carries that line anywhere in its list.
  • Click any column header to sort. Click again to flip.
  • Footer totals: deals, premium and estimated commission for whatever is filtered.
  • Export CSV gives you exactly the filtered rows with every calculated column, ready for Excel.
  • Click a row to open the deal panel.

9Team dashboard

Owner view shown; producers can see it too

Team tiles, sorting the producer table, potential revenue by X-date, pipeline by stage, by business type, goal progress, recent activity, then clicking a producer's name.

Every producer side by side

  • Six team tiles: open deals, open premium, potential revenue, bound premium YTD, bound commission YTD, team % to goal.
  • The producer table: the same 14 columns as your workbook, with a team total row. Sort by any column. Overdue counts show in red.
  • Potential revenue by X-date: the next twelve months as bars. Each month shows how many open deals have an X-date in it and what they're worth in premium × commission. Hover a bar for the premium too.
  • Pipeline by stage: deals, premium and potential revenue per stage, plus Bound and Lost YTD.
  • By business type: open deals and premium, bound premium and commission YTD.
  • Goal progress: solid bar is bound commission, the lighter extension is potential revenue still open, the tick is today's pace.
  • Recent activity: the latest stage moves across the team, live.
  • Click a producer's name to jump into their pipeline.

10Settings

Owner only

Changing a producer's goal, the stage names, adding a lead source, lines with default commission %, and the backup export.

Every dropdown and every number, without a developer

  • Agency name.
  • Producers and goals: name, role, annual commission goal. Add or remove producers.
  • Stage names: six stages in a fixed order, named whatever your team says. Rename one and every card, column and report follows.
  • Business types, lines of coverage with a default commission % per line (benefits lines are Medical, Dental, Vision, Group Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, Gap/Hospital Indemnity, Cancer, Consulting Fee), lead sources, opportunity types, lost reasons, carriers.
  • Rename a value and every existing deal using it follows along.
  • Data: a full JSON backup and an all-deals CSV, any time.

11Viewing as, and who can change what

Owner

The owner switches to Matt's pipeline, then back to the whole agency.

Owner sees everyone. Producers edit only their own.

  • The switcher at the top right flips the whole app to one producer's view, or to the whole agency with every producer's cards together.
  • A producer can look at a teammate's pipeline, but their cards are view-only. The database enforces that, not just the screen.
  • Only the owner sees Settings.

12Dark mode and sign out

Everyone

Toggle dark mode, then sign out.

Small things

  • Dark mode follows the device setting, or toggle it with the moon button. It remembers.
  • Sign out is the last button in the top bar. Next visit shows the sign-in screen.
  • Keyboard: N for a new deal, / to search, Esc closes anything.

13On a phone

Everyone

Tiles, swiping across the stages, Follow-ups, Team dashboard, the new-deal form.

The same site, built for a thumb

  • Tabs move to the bottom. The board swipes sideways, one stage at a time.
  • Advance, Undo, Done +1w and the new-deal form all work exactly as on desktop.
  • No app to install. "Add to Home Screen" gives it an icon if you want one.
